Howard L. Cheney, CPA

Co-Partner-in-Charge, Auditing and Accounting

As Co-Partner-in-Charge of Auditing and Accounting, Howard works with Rudy D'Agostino to supervise client compilations, audits and reviews. These engagements cover a variety of closely held businesses in industries, such as construction, wholesale distribution and real estate. Howard also oversees Meyers Brothers Kalicka’s quality control program.

A Certified Public Accountant, Howard began his career at Joseph D. Kalicka & Co., LLP in 1988. Howard holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a specialty in Accounting, from Western New England College, where he graduated magna cum laude in 1987. He also holds a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Hartford, awarded in 1996.

Howard is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants' Peer Review Acceptance Board, and a former member of the MSCPA’s Board of Directors, as well as past chair of both its Professional Conduct Subcommittee and Western Mass. Committee. He is also a member of the Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce, for which he serves on various committees and task forces, and Treasurer of the Volleyball Hall of Fame in Holyoke.
