Rudy M. D'Agostino, CPA

Partner,  Auditing and Accounting

As Partner in the Auditing and Accounting Division, Rudy works with Howard Cheney to oversee quality control, continuing professional education, and financial reporting. He also serves as a technical advisor to the firm relating to audit, accounting and financial reporting matters. A Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts, Rudy possesses considerable expertise in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, bank financing, tax planning, and recruitment, with services that include consulting, financial accounting, advisory services, and assistance in business valuations.   

Rudy has significant experience in working with closely held businesses, pension plans and not-for-profit organizations. His industry experience includes manufacturing, construction, services, retail, distribution and schools.

Rudy joined Meyers Brothers in 1995. Prior to that, he was Director of Accounting & Business Advisory Services for Owens & Company, CPAs, from 1994 to 1995. He served as Audit Manager for Coopers & Lybrand from 1985 until 1994.

Rudy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He serves on the board of the Westmass Area Development Corporation, the South End Community Center, and the Springfield School Volunteers.  In 2006, Rudy served as chair of the Baystate Children’s Miracle Network Telethon. He is also a Notary Public. He earned his double Bachelor's degrees in Arts and Science from Western New England College, summa cum laude, 1985.

The son of Italian immigrants, Rudy was raised in a bilingual household and can still speak some Italian. He played basketball and soccer in high school and college and has coached his sons’ youth teams in both sports. He plays golf after tax season and is a 9 handicap.
